Re: Cox DOCSIS 3 speed test in Lafayette I'd be much more interested to see a 500MB compressed file downloaded and timed with something like DU Meter. Those speed tests are wonky, especially when Powerboost is being employed. With DU meter, I was able to see exactly when the Powerboost cut off when using Comcast, and I was able to see real results with actual file transfers.
I explained how I tested my FiOS upload in the link below, but you could use the same applications for downloads.
