Re: taxes

Here in Canada (well Ontario) all home expenses are tax deductable if you work from home, but only a percentage. The percentage is calculated by how much square footage your home office is vs the total sqaure footage of your home. My home office is approx. 10% of my total home, so thus I claim 10% all expenses (repairs, utilties, phone, internet)...this does not include such things as cable or food or othersuch...unless of course you need to watch CNN or other news feeds as part of your work. Also you cannot claim electronics for some reason. So if you purchase a computer specifically for work...too bad.
