<description><![CDATA[anon posted : I have a Netgear ProSafe VPN Firewall FVX538 and a Speedstream 5100 modem from AT&T. (In Chicago incase it matters)<br><br>I have the user name and password for the DSL modem and if i am directly connected to the modem i have access to the internet so i know its good.<br><br>I also have a linksys wireless router that i can add to the mix and i have access to the internet.<br><br>When i try to use the Netgear VPN.. i follow the step by step instructions but when i hit TEST i cant get to the internet. I poked around all the settings and nothing looks obvious.. mostly because im a network idiot. <br><br>I am able to get the Netgear VPN to work with Comcast Cable internet (motorola modem). If someone knows what mistake im making or settings i missed with DSL please help.
