The emphasis is on DVD Creation software, which is analogical to burning different forms of files, with the end result parceling a conclusion and operational DVD disk in a DVD player. DVD authoring is the process of creating a DVD video that can be played on a DVD player. DVD authoring software must conform to the specifications set by the DVD Forum group in 1995. The specifications are complicated due to the number of companies that were involved in creating them.

Usually just TMPGEnc Plus to encode the videos and whatever random application I have on hand for authoring if I don't need anything special. If menus and such are desired, Adobe Encore all the way. |

WinAVI + Sony DVD Architect = pretty good
WinAVI is fast but does not have the menu creation that Sony does but the Sony is slow so I only use it for menu creation. |

Roxio Easy media Creator 9 is not the latest version, but in fasct two versioins old. Creator 2009 is current (I use both). |
