Agree, PS3 is not a good way to go. The power consumption alone is enough kill that. Among other issues that make it not feasible for Folding only systems.

The Dell Quads are the best for new OPs coming in.

Now, for someone with a bit of *nix knowledge, and patience, the GPU client might be worth a try. I had difficulties with several different VNC clients while trying to set up Foldy4 monitorless. I finally went with sorto's suggestion of Logmein, which works fine. Of course, I had to temporarily hook up a monitor just to set up the new computer and Logmein.
