| AOL and Internet Explorer
I have Windows XP on my Dell. I have AOL 9.1 on my desktop screen as an icon when I log on and it's also on Internet Explorer as a default home page. The two AOLs have different formats. I use the AOL on my non-Internet Explorer screen because I like it better and the screen is friendlier for me. When my AOL 9.1 became corrupt one day, I had to download AOL 9.1 again but was told to use Internet Explorer to download it. It works fine but now I see AOL in both places but with different formats, the format I like and always used on my startup screen, and the AOL on Internet Explorer. Is this a problem having 2 same versions of AOL? Is it possible for both AOLs to be running at the same time and if so, would it slow my computer down? Twice I got a message saying that AOL was already being used by another program but it worked the second time I tried to access it. Thanks. |
