"Yankees are home grown" bull like money has nothing to do with it. Name me one current Yankee who took less money to stay with them. Or maybe you don't remember Bernie being halfway to Arizona before George opened the checkbook a little wider.
By the way, I consider the NE Jersey teams part of "this town", and the Maras are FAR AND AWAY the best owners around. |
