You're probably looking at an ASUS, eVGA, DFI or XFX board, with a nvidia (750i, 780i, 790i, etc) chipset.
Are the nVidia chipsetted boards the only ones that do SLI?

To the best of my knowledge, for a socket 775 board, yes.
