Re: [help] IP changed many times today Currently the Motorola 2200 modem does the PPPoE, i'll check the logs and see if it was loosing the session.
Does a PPPoE login always result in a new IP?
If I enable bridge mode (or PPPoE passthrough) on the modem and enable PPPoE on my firewall will this help?

It depends....... if the PPPoE server is ending the session there is nothing you can do about that If the modem is ending the PPPoE session letting the router do the PPPoE may help |
