Just wanted to add that he figured it out for me through msn messenger. and that its crunching away.

I did see last night on the Stanford website that they *recommend* you run the SMP client with a quad core..which I only have a dual core, but I don't plan to fold forever with the SMP client ..hopefully a new PSU and a Geforce GTS 250 will be in my near future.

The only concern would be if your CPU is fast enough to finish the WUs in time for the dealine.

If you add the ETA to how long ago it was downloaded, you get about 2 days to complete. That is if you leave the client running 24/7. And depends also on what else you have going on with the computer.

6 days is the deadline on that one. So, you have a bit of play. Just not as much as you would with the uni client WU's.
