| 2700HG-E Gateway and xbox 360 connection problem
Ok well i did a search for the issue i am currently having with my network for my xbox 360, Now i did not see anything for my specific issue so i apologize if i have posted a topic that has already been started.
Now my 2700HG-E Gateway 2wire router/modem is the wireless one, and my laptop/PC/Wii/PSP all connect to it just fine, But when i plug in my xbox 360 (wired) on the Test Xbox live Connection screen i get the Network Connected but then it fails at Internet? Just would like to get my 360 going on the internet would anyone be kind enough to give me a hand with it? |

| In its default configuration the xbox is a dhcp client If the xbox does not like the private ip address it will get You can set the 2wire to give the xbox the dmz plus mode If that's still not good enough you can bridge the 2wire and make the xbox do the PPPoE |

| You should try this guide first Connecting an Xbox(360) to a 2Wire Home Network
This should be your last resort bridge mode and port fowarding are not needed to use xbox live Bridging the 2wire |

I went into firewall settings on the 2wire and added the xbox as a hosted application and it worked fine perhaps try that.
Just need to know port number and you, I think can set a manual ip in box you then put details into 2 wire box,s then click save then go back to all applications list look for xbox and add to hosted side.
If i am wrong then sorry but it worked for network newbie me |
