Before you can run the client, it needs to be configured with the username you intend to use on Stanford's servers and, if desired, a team number. (Team Helix is team 4, if you wish to join the local team.) Other options are more or less default, but tweakable. Others will point you, I expect, to a FAQ outlining the process.

I suggest creating two shortcuts, one for configuration purposes, and one for starting the client after configuration. I placed the client in C:\FAH; obviously you need to navigate to your program directory. My shortcuts:

You _must_ start the SMP client with the -smp flag, others are optional
