While I am very appreciative of embarq_joey and all he's done, I can't freggin understand why twitter is getting so much coverage lately. I have to ask you joey, did twitter come to you for this video?
It's so strange, because popular thought on twitter seems to be "I hate it and it's stupid" yet the largest and smallest outlets seem to be covering the hell out of it. |

| Twitter did not come to me for this video. I actually went to a local Tweetup here where I live in NC and one of the organizers contacted me beforehand wanting to ask some questions. It's kinda funny to me that the video was just posted on a local webpage and now apparently it's being put on the Embarq YouTube page Talk about hitting the big time!
But seriously, the Tweetup was a nice, informal meeting where about 25 local people came together to talk about how they use Twitter whether personally or for business use. I think it's a great tool that anyone can pick up and connect with anyone; friends, families, or even places they do business with. We've had great success not only here on DSLR, but also on Twitter and look forward to having even more success in the future.

On edit: Nope. Not out of Carlisle. I didn't watch the video before posting.
But recommendations on great NC BBQ pits are always appreciated. My alltime fav, Beck's, in Lexington, went out of business.

Way to be in the forefront of technology for customer relations.
It took a while for this big ole co's to embrace employees using forums like this to facilitate support.
You are the man Joey.
As a follow-up, I wrote a short article for the members of the Hunterdon Computer Club - Hunterdon County New Jersey where DSLReports is mentioned regularly in response to Q&A on DSL issues.
