But these people are using Pirate Bay for VPN service because TPB promises to keep no logs and not respond to any subpoenas for info. Other free, more legitimate, sites that want to obey the law keep and will provide IP addresses when requested by law enforcement. Those paying TPB are using TPB because they know they are doing something illegal.
