The other impact of this is anyone trying to make a purchase with an ATM or Credit Card can't.
If hope this is not tied to the contract talks that are going on between the Union and AT&T. If it is the Union lost a lot of sympathy from the people.

Because of the UAW, there already is no more sympathy for unions. I have nothing against unions as long as they don't take advantage of their position. But the UAW is chocking the Detroit automakers in to bankruptcy (they're at least partially to blame) and they don't even care. Its hard to have sympathy for the AT&T workers' union when it strikes during an economic crisis. I just hope the AT&T workers' union is learning what not to do from the UAW. |

Maybe the cable service managers did this to make the union look bad.
I had a boss who would purposely screw things up to make the employees look bad. I was able to log accesses that he could not erase and we got him on the sabotage. |

i tend to think it is somehow connected to the coming strike. punk type vandals wouldnt want to sever internet access because they they couldnt post their actions on Youtube for bragging rights.

Unfortunately, this is common. Also, Bosses and managers will often blame problems on Union employees--- and a strike is all the more reason to frame employees or give the Union a black eye.
