So why does Comcast bother saying 250GB? I know there's what they say in their AUP FAQ... but what's the real reason in your opinion?
It was clarified several pages back that the 250GB disclosed cap came out of the State of Florida v Comcast ruling. The charge was that Comcast couldn't cut users off for using "too much" unless they defined a number that constituted "too much."
Right. Comcast came out with that figure for Florida and made it nationwide... but why the apparent disparity between 250GB disclosed and 500GB not getting a call as was the case mentioned a few posts back... doesn't make sense....
