I can't see why a 100(1)/15 tier is very low on the upload...esp. at that price. It should be more symmetrical of at least 30mbit upload (There's a reason why docsis 3 is a new spec.. it can upload faster than docis 2.0 speeds)! FIOS does 50/20 so a higher price without a competitive upstream.. won't get many to bite.
Certainly residential & business want higher speeds.. but the pricing will be sky high for the time being while cablevision figures out what is fair compared with Verizon's offerings. There aren't enough docsis 3 customers around to report how well the service holds up during peak load times or severe weather.. or other network congestion & speed tests around the world. |
