Re: modem for dsl internet I don't have any Acanac ID yet as I have not applied/signed up with Acanac yet. Just wanted to make sure that I'd be able to use my current Modem (SpeedStream 5200, E240).
I tried to open the Modem interface on web my browser to find out if could switch it to Acanac or my next provider however I was not able to view on the browser using 192.168.2.1
I am already using a wireless router after my modem as well.
Long story short: I'd like make sure and try to change my modem setting (hope it is not locked) before I switch as I am not willing to pay for modem at this time.
