Doctor Olds posted : Companies that chose to offshore tech support from the USA did not do so based on any reputation better quality (or even similar quality) of existing tech support skills in India, it was solely a cost per hour/cost per employee based decision (India labor is much cheaper and benefits are cheaper) and then the US companies still had to train the new hires in India before they could even begin to start handling support calls from US customers. That and language classes were given to try to reduce/neutralize their native language accent that is hard to understand for many US citizens.
--
What’s the point of owning a supercar if you can’t scare yourself stupid from time to time?

She infects her PC by ether clicking a fake ad or hitting a drive-by page without a secure PC or with an unsecured browser, then she leaves it unfixed/dead in the water (she couldn't afford the fee for the scammer's ransom or to pay someone legitimate to actually fix it) and instead of asking anyone else to help her clean up the infection plus learn how to avoid it in the future, she just goes to her daughter's place of business and then proceeds to repeat infect her daughter's business PC that has 10+ Years of un-backed up company records, sales histories, inventory, suppliers, business taxes, you know basically the entire data and records from a small business owner that had accumulated in the previous 10 Years. No regard at all it seems to me, she just wanted to get back on the Internet and didn't care who suffered and was too good to go to the Public Library where use is free. I feel for her poor daughter, but have no sympathy for the mother repeating the same thing she did to her own PC with no regard.
