I am running windows Vista on laptop. I am using a belkin wireless router. I am using avg free antivirus and a no software firewall because of the router. I have major latency issues at times with websites loading up and any download over 3 or 4 mbs it times out. I have installed the wildblue optimizer. |

Connect the WB modem directly to a computer and repeat trying to download those problem files Bet you discover that your Belken router is the problem, as Basilar also suggested |

| reply to WBHater For starters bypass the Belkin router as mentioned by others since some models have problems with WB. If you still have problems do a string of 20 or so of pings to see if you are getting a lot of timeouts. If your showing of packet loss it's time for a call to CS. Could be anything from a bad modem to just needing your dish repointed.
