Web Server

I am trying to setup a web server. have the following:

My Desktop running XP with IIS enabled and it will be the web server.
Speedstream 4200 modem /Router
Static IP address

I don't wish to register a domain name yet. I want to get the server up and running using my
Static IP address. I also would like to keep my private IP addresses for security reasons becuase I have 4 machines on my LAN.

My question is where do I configure my static IP on my SpeedStream Router ( if yes where abouts) or do I configure it on my server?

If I configure it on my server and my static IP starts with 60.240.*****. how do i route the traffic to my web server if it has a private address of say 192.168.0.*
Do I need to forward any ports?

Your help is much appreciated.

Only your ISP can tell you how to setup your 4200 for their connection. I doubt you specify your Public IP in the Modem as Most ISPs assign your IP by your PPPoE or PPPoA login credentials. If you ordered a Static WAN IP, they just give you the same IP automatically based on your username/password in their system, but you will have to ask them to be 100% sure.
