4 Days???

What is the reasoning behind the four day delay anyway. It should be 24 at max this makes it easier for the customer and the company tring to get the ported number.

Without the data, as to why there is any delay, it is just an opinion.

After reading the article on WW they say "Backers of a shorter porting interval say more time could be given to smaller wireline carriers if they are unable to upgrade their systems to allow for faster ports. The main opposition to the measure appears to come from the U.S. Telecom broadband association." But it stands my opinion is that it should only take 24hrs.

@comcast.net

So since the company (vonage) is incompetent and can't port a number faster than 15 bussiness days (22 real days) , you have chosen to coninue doing business with them? A consumers only real power is to move thier money elswhere. you have chosen not to exercise it.
