you still missed what i posted about...perhaps i should make a topic just for you and highlight in green, so you might see it better

in case you fail to read your own posts:

Ah okay, lets go with this one. Lets defend curse with oh MSNBC, oh how about NYT? How about USAToday? I can keep going, but they've all had 'bad' rotations in their ad stream before.

...by all means, give us the links...and perhaps my "eassy" posts will have been for more then reposting the same thing over and over and over...just like your cheese wheels
Failing to read also means failing to read between the lines. I suppose you're another one of those people who needs a road map or something. By the way that's essay, remember the implication was 3rd party cross-contamination by advertisers by failing to properly review add streams. If you have issues at using google to do your own research, I can't help you. It's time to learn boolean.

Guess you missed the point with the cheese, and the wheel goes around, and around while the happy man gets wet with 3 mice.

maybe, the only thing i have asked from you is the links to your defense you have yet to provide...im not failing at anything

while you are failing at providing links i have asked for now four posts in a row

its called google maps...but those arent the links im asking for...are they?

wow, i ask for one thing this entire time, and instead of you backing up your sorry claims, you tell me to google? have you even tried that yourself? or is that more bullshit i see dripping from your posts?

no no, i got it, you just cant grasp the concept of what i think of you, otherwise, you might have stopped this pointless debate by now.

hows bout we make a deal, post the links, either by using this imaginary google you speak of, or whatever form of search you get trigger happy with, and ill let the post die

if that is too much of a request for you, please let me know with another post lacking links we all are waiting for, and maybe ill request those links one more time in another post im sure you attempt to insult me over...while still lacking links...

I love it when people make a claim with no substance and the ask the reader to prove it for them.

one small request, thats all im asking for...links, nothing more, nothing less, some links...does anyone think im asking too much?
im asking him to link it because websense blocks alot of pages here, so if he can give me some direct links, i would stop asking

Can't play internet tough guy and provide links. It just doesn't have the same ego-stroking power.

Yes it's called google, it's not difficult. I understand that spending 4 mins of your time is hard but I know...you really need to spend more time looking. And I even picked the easiest ones to find just for you, so you could actually search for the rest.

I don't need to play the epeen game and stroke my ego. I'm generally 95% sure of what I say. And when I'm wrong, I am.

Don't worry, it happens to everyone now doesn't it?

I made no claims to you being correct or not, just your attitude problem.

You mean actually having people look something up on their own instead of having it handed to them on a platter, for shame upon the world for furthering edumucation.

Don't worry, when you actually deal with my attitude, you'll know.

You know. I've been using Curse Client for a while. A friend showed me WoWMatrix and I liked the looks of it, but being a creature of habit, I stuck to Curse Client. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Until today, I went to update multiple addons, and the curse client said, "Sorry, only for premium members only."

Well wtf. I started doing some research and came across this thread. You know what? Curse has just done pissed me off. I am uninstalling curse client, and finding other sites to download my addons as we speak. I refuse to have anything to do with curse or WoWInterface. I'll use different addons if I have to. But that's some baby back bullshit.

You would give up using great add-ons because some automatic update client no longer works? I manually update several add-ons and have done so since I started playing this game. It's about one of the easiest things to do.

Still don't understand the issue with people around here. Why the need to have a program update your addon all the time? 90% of the time, addon updates are mostly localization fixes. If it ain't broke, don't bother updating. Software that automatically updates addons also makes it more difficult to troubleshoot if an addon is causing errors.

I personally use many addons and it takes 10 minutes a week to update, how can people be so lazy? Oh right, the same people that don't even know their addons have settings you can change.

If they're anything like me or alot of other people we're not talking about updating 10-20 addons we're talking 80 plus. I personally have 89. When you have that many it is alot easier to just open a program and update them by clicking 1 button. I never used wowmatrix, but I used the curse updater, and it pisses me off now that curse had implemented their updater premium where you have to update each mod individually and can't update all anymore. Call me lazy if you want, its more about convenience than anything with me.

I'm interested in seeing some screenshots of people's addon folders to show they have so many addons and that auto updaters are important to them.

Click for full size
I just started from scratch on friday. Before then my folder was even larger, but I had alot of old bc stuff in it (solarian alarm, simon daily, etc.)

Really if I only had 5 addons I'd rather use an updater.

I don't have to find a page to download it manually
I don't have to find a seperate page for each and every mod (this is a big one on patch days where everything is slow anyway)
I don't have to leave a file on my desktop to be deleted later
I don't have to extract anything myself
I don't risk extracting the file to wrong place

Why would you want it to be harder? Just because you can walk from New York to Seattle doesn't mean a plane wouldn't be better.

Not bad, you only have about 30 addons there, would like to see people who says they have 80+ addons.
