Defending curse by using blizzard's screw up as an example is not exactly smart.
Wowmatrix did not ask me to login to anything, sign up for anything. It did not ask me for money ever, and not once did it try to screw up my computer through it's own merits or with the help of 3rd party ads. |

No all wowmatrix did was leech bandwidth, and remove the credit of authors from the addons they've made. Big shock. By the way, you're not required to pay for curse either. And if and when it slips out of premium mode and you decide you don't want to pay, you'll be only limited to sequential downloads, along with an ad. Oh noes! |

However, in reaction to all of the protests WowMatrix added author credit ages ago. I clicked on the author links in WowMatrix frequently to go to the source sites and read up on the most recent updates to the addons (and in the process get exposed to the ads that curse and wowinterface wanted me to see  ).

what about real life?
people must think you spamming on forums like this is a result of loss of life on your part
youre making a big deal over whats displayed between two updater programs
i use wowomatrix and curse, cause they both work fine
and to be honest, with 82 addons, i have no problem using either.
quick question though...can you link use the defense used by msnbc, nyt, and usatoday? i would like to see their comments on it
and ive never used premium anything from them, theres a guy who uploads all their top end stuff into torrents for the rest of the world to download without wasting dollars on a site based on a game ~ they call that common sense Mashiiki, just an fyi  |

and they do come from torrents if people upload them, and you know where to look, but you mashiki...dont
