Here's something interesting about AT&T DSL. I live in rural North MS and I've been told that DSL will never come to my community. I've been able to verify that 2 AT&T Techs have DSL at their extremely rural homes. One Tech lives in the sticks 10 miles from the nearest tiny town, yet he has DSL. Another is a retired tech that managed to get DSL on his county road of 3 people before he retired. He is 15 miles from any town. Both these techs live in extremely rural areas that otherwise wouldn't have DSL. This is probably happening in other places. So I guess if you want DSL in your community, get an AT&T tech to live there? |
