 1 edit | been getting high pings with atlbb. ran tracert had connection for over 2 years had a few problems here and there but ok server over all... but for the last 2 months my ping has been crap. Ive called provider and got the run around. was told they see no problems and no one else has complained... Ive been running tracerts and logging the findings but dont know what to do to get some help from isp... heres tracert from less than a hour ago and its not as bad as some nights

 | Ran some tracert tests from here (Atlantic Broadband Johnstown) as well, and the problem seems to be in the level3.net backbone. Got a BIG drop there. Unfortunately, that is well outside of Atlantic Broadband's network.
I'll report the issue, and at some point level3 will notice the bottleneck (but don't know when).

 | reply to cr4zymitch Yea man i also live in bellwood and getting been getting HUGE lag over the past month, all in that level3. I also called atlbb and said basicly I have to wait for the ppl there to fix it.
Ive had this problem before prolly like 3-4 years ago which lasted a while.
Would like to get comcast since i live like on the border of tyrone/bellwood but they said since im using atlbb's lines they cant interfer with there business or somecrap. |
