Users Lament Kindle 2 "Upgrades"

How are they selling this e-reader? It's more than $350 and the books are at least $9.99.

I looked at several of the books offered at the $9.99 price and most are offered for less (even with shipping) as used books. Bezos could probably sell ice cubes at the North Pole, AND charge for shipping.
