@acanac.net | ACANAC blocking DNS for windows update Not sure how to report this so I'm wondering if anyone else is having problems with windows update. IE keeps showing Page Not Found everytime I try to access MS windows update or microsoft.com. I tried it with kproxy and I can connect. | |

1 edit | It can be cause by explorer 8 (just a wild guess here but we nerver know) i did install it on my computer but can't use it , it just close after i try to use it. For the weather channel did you try another browser like firefox or chrome ? | |

Etobicoke, ON | I brought my laptop to work (we use TerraGo Networks) and I instantly loaded the windows update page. There may be a problem with the DNS server. At home I bypassed my router and connected directly to the modem but nothing changed. | |

Etobicoke, ON | It was my own modem (a Dlink) but I changed the MTU settings on my router (DLINK DIR-655)and not the modem. I think the router modifies the modem settings when it reboots. | |

I am 50 m to the remote (0db att) and couldnt sync at full 5M profile speed.
