join:2009-01-19 Etobicoke, ON | reply to windows update It was my own modem (a Dlink) but I changed the MTU settings on my router (DLINK DIR-655)and not the modem. I think the router modifies the modem settings when it reboots. |

join:2009-01-19 Etobicoke, ON | reply to windows update I brought my laptop to work (we use TerraGo Networks) and I instantly loaded the windows update page. There may be a problem with the DNS server. At home I bypassed my router and connected directly to the modem but nothing changed. |

For the weather channel did you try another browser like firefox or chrome ? |

@acanac.net | Not sure how to report this so I'm wondering if anyone else is having problems with windows update. IE keeps showing Page Not Found everytime I try to access MS windows update or microsoft.com. I tried it with kproxy and I can connect. |
