All they did with this new law is protect criminals.
Now when they need to trace an IP for a real crime, the ISP will say sorry we do not have that info since you forced us to deleted all ip info so we did not have to get involved with the filesharing issues.
I suspect Sweden knew exactly what they were doing when they passed this law. It pleases both sides.
