@scansafe.net

upnp for SIP

help,

i want to replace a westell/linksys combo with a netopia 3347W router only for dsl

the port forward on the linksys has ports 9393, 6000, and 5060 to the voip phone. these i can create on the netopia with pinholes.

the linksys also has a upnp setting for SIP/port 5060 to the voip phone.

i cannot find the corresponding setting in the netopia to sucessfully let the phone work.

are there settings that be configured using telnet?
i have enabled the upnp functionality on the netopia but i cannot find any other place to configure port setting.

thanks for all your help

@scansafe.net

Let me rephrase the above question:

Can one forward Upnp ports on a netopia 3347 DSL router.

on the linksys the entry is:

SIP 5060 UPD 5060 192.168.0.03

I am trying avoid the using both a netopia (bridge mode) and the linksys router, but the 3347 does not seem to support upnp forwarding.

thanks again
