Any buddies with a 4x4 with a winch? Might try and winch it up and have you and another friend or two in the pool to help it up out of the pool so it doesn't hit the walls and cause damage....
Seriously... what are you gonna tell the wife when you get it out? You could potentially be looking at some serious mechanical repairs to the mower (they are strong enough to bend a rod).

This has happened to me 3 or 4 times. Like Daarken said, get a breather hose for the carb. You'll also need a hose for the exhaust because the engine won't run right under 6' of water without it. Turn the blades over so the pitch is reversed. What we are looking for here is for the blades to provide some down-force when you fire up the engine and engage them. Fill the pool to the very top. Fire up the engine, give it some gas, engage the blades and you should rise to the surface easily. With the water at the top edge of the pool, you should be able to drive out no problems.
Haha this is hilarious - yet sounds strangely plausible. Thanks for that!
As others have said, you're going to take a little bit of ribbing here because in the grand scheme of life, this is a little funny.
With that said, I have to imagine a chain and a few guys can get this thing out. May be I'm wrong, but if it was a car I'd say forget it. A rider mower, ehh, I don't know--probably can be done with a few guys.
You've sort of inspired me not to get a rider mower, as I would probably have a beer or two on it myself. While I don't have a pool, I can see myself driving through or up against the fence, rolling the tracker onto itself and me, or something similar. Self-propelled walking mower it will be.
Good luck to you. Where do you live? I swear if you're within 100 miles I come help you just to see what happened.
I need to get this out of the pool as quick as possible before my wife sees it, right now I've out some floats and decorations around the mower.
Thanks for yalls help.
Just keep the decorations updated. Flags for 4th of July, pumpkins and straw for Halloween, throw a Christmas tree in the pool next December...that should keep the wife fooled.
I know, the whole thing sounds ridiculous and made up. The OP just joined yesterday and is probably laughing at us suggesting way to fix something that never happened.
Put a rope or chain on it, drag it up the incline to the shallow end, and lift it out. Three big guys should be able to dead lift 400 lbs out of the shallows.
Or lower the water level, throw in some seeds, and tell your wife you were just giving it a trim.
