EVGA 8800 GTX -- stock fan quiet?

IIgs : I'm looking at the option replacing my current video card with a EVGA 8800 GTX. Just wondering if anyone has experience with noise-levels on this card...is the stock fan quiet or noisy when idle? I'm very picky about noise levels, so when I say "quiet" I mean near silence; zero noise. :)

I'm currently using a 9800 GT AKimbo (dual slot) card and find I have to manually lower the fan speed through software because of noise. When set to 'auto' the fan spins at around 50% and I certainly hear it (dropping it down to 35% is fine, though I have to remember to set it back each time I want to play a game or anything involving 3D intensive stuff).
