Thanks. So does the SB5101's newer chipset have the upstream issues fixed?

Also is there anyway to know if comcast has me on 256QAM?

What upstream issue are you referring to?

The SBxxxx series show the Downstream QAM on the diagnostic page.

Got ya, it looks like the original poster's ISP is Comcast, as is mine. As you can see in the screenshot, the Downstream QAM is not available on the diagnostic with the Comcast distributed firmware.

The QAM isn't available with the current SB5101 firmware that Cox HSI uses, either.
