Thanks man.

I'll go into the office and try to schedule something next week.

I need some moral support on this one.. :-( Wish me luck

Sure, couldn't hurt.

I don't expect you'll get in to see him/her for details at first. Just go in and ask for some time. Be prepared to make an appointment for a future date.

Yeah. I saw their local office hours. I think this type of situation is best to do in person.. But I will just the call thing one more time next week then go in.

Any material I should bring with me? Like bring location maps...etc ?

I highly doubt it. If I was you, I'd find the local office and ask to speak with the head guy about it. Don't do the whole phone thing.

Yeah, it's astronomical. I've spoken to a Comcast engineer about their rates.. Not sure how it differs.

Think i can negotiate with wave to split the costs?

Wave's going to be the one doing the cable work, so it's really going to be them.

You are aware of how expensive it is, right?

I'm willing to pay, or have our neighborhood pitch in..

Who should I ask for?

Honestly, you're not going to get anywhere here. If they want to do it, they'll do it. If they don't, you have to pay.

Hey guys - Here is the progress I've gotten with WAVE Broadband so far.. The situation is my neighbor 1,500 - 2,000 ft away can get service and I'm trying everything I can to get them to extend service...

I called sales and they would send someone to survey and call me with updates.

--UPDATE

The survey guy came and escalated the work order to engineering/construction with NO ETA.. Maybe they have to wait on permits and such.. I'm going to check in next week.
Also, the survey guy was supposed to call me.. But he didn't.. I need to talk to someone in person about this area.

Does anyone have any experience on this? Like the process of burying cable and who exactly I should talk to.. (County, City.. etc..) to help aid the process for the company..

Granted, the area is a little tricky to bury cable (Up and around a hill), and it's going to be expensive.. But i'm willing to query our neighbors to pitch in.
