You should send it to me to dispose of properly.
No, seriously. Did you try to reflash to the right firmware. Use the folloowing instructions.

Use the Tomato batch file that is included with the Tomato firmware to flash all compatible Buffalo routers. If you get timeout errors copy the tftp.exe file from Windows/System32/ into the same directory as the .bat and .trx files so the system can find tftp.exe faster

There are good instruction included in the read me file and runs the install for you.

I did the stupid thing because I have two DD-WRT routers and installed Tomato for WRT54GL on a WHR-HP-G54.

Should I try something (apart from resetting) or should I just throw it away and buy a new one?
