Re: I know it's nice to have everything in one device Except that buying enough stand alone boxes to fullfil the uses of a PS3 or a 360 would cost the same as about 2-3 of the consoles, take up a lot more room, need a bunch of differnt cables and cable management to hook up, and you'd still need a console for the gaming aspect. -- Im Your Boogeyman, Thats What I Am |

An article in the latest PC World magazine ("The Connected TV: Web Video Comes to The Living Room"), lists over a dozen gadgets, boxes, etc that offer internet content on a TV.
But, it's all paid or rented content, no mention is made of any free content- Hulu, CBS.com, ABC.com, AOLTV, MSNTV, etc etc- except for You Tube. If the networks are going to put the latest episodes of their series online, it would be nice not to have to watch them on the computer. Mark F. |
