Re: I know it's nice to have everything in one device Except that buying enough stand alone boxes to fullfil the uses of a PS3 or a 360 would cost the same as about 2-3 of the consoles, take up a lot more room, need a bunch of differnt cables and cable management to hook up, and you'd still need a console for the gaming aspect.

Fort Wayne, IN | It would be nicer if there was a way to easily stream both paid and free content from the internet to any TV we want. An article in the latest PC World magazine ("The Connected TV: Web Video Comes to The Living Room"), lists over a dozen gadgets, boxes, etc that offer internet content on a TV.
But, it's all paid or rented content, no mention is made of any free content- Hulu, CBS.com, ABC.com, AOLTV, MSNTV, etc etc- except for You Tube. If the networks are going to put the latest episodes of their series online, it would be nice not to have to watch them on the computer.
