All I can say is that the program does work, but the settings change only lasts for a very short while so make your username and password very short/very easy to type. You have to be fast to get in. You can't wait or take your time typing in your commands. You should have the Telnet program ready to login so you have to only press enter.

Tips: 1. Make sure the interface you select is the one that the modem is physically connected to. 2. Try to use an Ethernet card and not USB. 3. Shut down any programs that may be communicating with modem configurations, i.e. TangoManager, or any SNMP program. 4. Make sure to use the correct modem IP when connecting to the FTP. 5. Connect to the FTP immediately after setting the login as the login will expire after a short time. 6. Make sure to enter the MAC address in hexadecimal format, i.e. AA:FF:00:00:AA:88 7. When setting the login/password use a short one, i.e. 123/123

| Well, I can't explain it, but even 1 or 2 seconds after I flash the pwd., I still can't get in through Telnet. I've tried diff. passwords and multiple times.
Perhaps there is some kind of bug? Can I assume that if 5200FTP is always accurate when it says the password was changed successsfully?
