Hi guys,
I learned a lot from reading this thread. I'm a growing lvl 80 rogue, and I think I've reached the lvl of Naxx 10 raiding, though I haven't started that yet. I'm specced for fist/fist using Greed and Kinetic Ripper...
What I wanted to ask is; Would it be worth for me to get Mirror of Truth? I'm checking RAWR out, and according to that programs calculations, it wouldn't be worth having for me, telling me that my current trinket, Incisor Fragment (from King Dred in DTK), gives me better DPS! I thought it sounded ludicrous but I would like you guys' opinion 
Another trinket that's better according to RAWR, is Battlemaster's Conviction, with steady 190 AP, and not just better, but way better.
I asked just a few players and they all disagreed with RAWR but I would like as many opinions as I can get. I hate wasting emblems

I thought I would post here instead of on wow boards as I'm fed up with this games community. Right now I just got a rogue to 80 and am trying to gear up. I got tired of the your gear sucks or your dps is to low. So I grinded the bg and got all hateful welfare epics. It helped some but I am still having dps issues. I've got the spinal destroyer and fleshraper both with mongoose. My armory is shrappnel on malganis. Am I on the right track? My ap just won't go up.
Its so hard to get geared with people being dicks. I did manage a 25 nax run with my guild and attained 4.2dps on patch, which for me was decent.

Last I checked, the rogue model in RAWR was still in the early stages of development and was not considered in any way accurate. If you've talked with other players, especially higher level rogues and they disagree with RAWR, trust them, not it. That goes with pretty much every tool/mod/spreadsheet. Theorycraft is a nice place to start but it all goes out the window under real world conditions. | |
