I am unable to add to the thread so I am creating a new one. I unlocked factory reset spa2102r (sunrocket) yesterday and wanted post my instructions hoping to help someone who is looking. Here goes.
You are basically tricking SPA to update config file from sunrocket IP address 67.133.234.53.
Note: My router is linksys with DD-WRT firmware. My PC has Vista.
1. YOU NEED: linksys2102-sunrocket.cfg from locations specified here => »gizmopasswords.blogspot.com/2007···ive.html
2. PREPARATION: You need a spare router, a machine. Do not connect router or machine to internet.
A) Change LAN ips to 67.133.234.X on the router
DD-WRT: Basic Setup -> Network Setup -> Router IP -> Local IP Address -> 67.133.234.1 Click Save.
Start IP Address -> 67.133.234.10
Maximum DHCP Users -> 50
B) Force 67.133.234.53 on the machine
DD-WRT: Services -> Static Leases.
MAC Address: Enter machine MAC Address
IP Address: 67.133.234.53
c) Install Apache on your machine and start it. Open Httpd.conf file and change default type to "application/text" from "text/plain"
E) Copy the config file to C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\/htdocs/gms/linksys/SPA-2102/2102. Rename it to YOUR_SPA2101_MACADDRESS.cfg. MAC address is in the back of your SPA.
F) Connect your machine to router and start the router. Check that
IP Address of your machine is 67.133.234.53
Default Gateway is 67.133.234.1
G) Start the apache server and test it by going to 67.133.234.53 from another machine
3. ASSIGN STATIC IP tO SPA:
A) From phone dial ****101 ->1#(StaticIP) -> 1(Save) ;
B) 111#(Change Static IP) -> 67*133*234*53# (New Static IP) -> 1(Save)
4. Connect SPA to power. Wait for two lights to be solid green on SPA. Check /logs/access.log to see that the config file was pulled.
* # Pick up the phone, and, dial ****
* # At the prompt, dial 723646#
* # When prompted for a password, dial 79309925#
* # Dial 1#
* # Dial 1
* # Hang up
5. PROGRAM SPA:
A) Go to »192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced. login with the credentials admin and qwe%zxc5
B) RECOMMENDED: Change admin and user password to something easy to remember and hard to hack, write it down.
C) disable provisioning. Change provisioning = No.
D) Not sure what this means, but I also removed following from Restricted Domain Access => sunrocket.com,67.133.234.53,72.165.163.33. I removed everything.
6. SAVE: Click: UPDATE ALL VALUES
7. OPTIONAL: Download and update firmware.You might need to repeat steps 3 - 6
* 1. Go to »itrealm.net/spa2102-5.1.9.zip (or from Linksys support) and download to desktop
2. Right click on zip file, extract here.
3. Double click on upg-spa2102-5-1-9.exe
4. Enter 192.168.0.1 for IP hit ok
5. Enter password hit ok
6. Router stats are displayed, hit upgrade.
7. Hit ok to close utility.
8. ALL DONE. Now Provision your router for new provider.
REMEMBER:
A) NEVER FACTORY RESET YOUR SPA2102
B) NEVER USER RESET YOUR SPA2102. If you do then you might need to repeat steps 3 - 6
C) SPA2102 IVR COMMANDS:
Enable/Disable dhcp 101# (0 DHCP, 1 static),
get dynamic ip: 110#,
Enter Static IP: 111# followed by IP address (use * instead of .)
Enter Static Gateway IP: 131 (use * instead of .)
user reset (****877778#),
(DO NOT DO THIS) FACTORY RESET (****73738#).
web admin access (****723646#)
Finally I am unable to help anyone with technical information. All the information is compiled from the 18 pages of thread listed above and 2 days of hard work. | |

| Hi, I have this Linksys SPA2102-R. I want to take the viaTalk connection in 3 days. I am trying to unlock this SPA and it showed the Linksys admin page once...and ithout much knowledge, I just clicked submit chnages and it is not working anymore. Please help me how to start?
I have a laptop, Belkin wireless router. What I was doing is connect the ethernet cable from laptop to SPA (after enabling internet sharing ). In the command prompt, I can see LOcal Area Connection IP address as 192.168.0.1, wireless connection IP address as 192.168.2.2 and default gfateway IP as 192.168.2.1
Please guide me from here.

Can you please explain STEP 2 in more layman terms? I do not have DD-WRT. I have tried doing all the steps and other ways for a week now without success. If you can help me, I would be grateful to you
