Re: what are these #s for Noise on the Telephone line and/or cheap Corded and Cordless Phones will sometimes cause noise that will degrade the DSL signal (that will kill the DSL if it is present). If you are hearing noise when talking on the phone or see speeds slow way down when using a phone then that may be the problem. Your line has to be noise free to support stable DSL. No pops, no static, no clicking, no AM Radio Stations bleeding in on the line, no hums, or any other similar noises should be heard when you pick up the phone then press 1 to dismiss the dial-tone so you can listen.
