For home use, choose PSK (Pre Shared Key). EAP is overkill for the home user.
If all connecting devices support AES, then use that. Otherwise, or if you are not sure, select TKIP.
I'm not aware of any significant difference in speeds. If you can set your router for "g" only, rather than "b/g" autoselect, that might give faster speeds. But, again, only do that if all devices are compatible.
