Re: iPod Touch auto-lock shuts down DSL modem, why? UPDATE -- I never did figure out exactly why this was happening. The DSL modem was a Speedstream 4100, made by Siemens, that I got with AT&T Yahoo DSL. At first I thought the problem was outdated firmware, but I checked it and I was running the last firmware version (1.0.0.53). Siemens is out of the DSL modem business now, so any future incompatibilities are not likely to get fixed. I ended up just replacing the modem with AT&T's current one (Motorola 2210) and now the problem is gone. |
