Getting from 1Mbps to 2Mbps on an iPhone won't be very noticeable.

I suspect QoS will keep things besides data cards from having full data rates.

I see. Of course as people are saying, the new 7Mbps will actually translate into 2... I wonder what 20mbps is in the real world.

I get 1.5mbps on 3 3G bars here on Puerto Rico (on my Fuze). Lets hope they actually DONT leave us for last this time around.

Out in the suburbs by me I can get 1.5 to 2.4 usually. At home I usually never get full signal in 3G, about 3-4 bars so 1 to 1.3 megs is average. In the city of chicago good luck!!




The top four were from my office building in chicago this morning. The 2312 was this morning when I got on my train in the suburbs. The ones under that are from various points along my train ride last night.

AT&T can keep dreaming about faster speeds but until they fix capacity issues in the major cities its pointless.
