Unless it is a new developing neighborhood. Already built neighborhoods get the fiber/copper setup. A newer neighborhood that is still in development will get fiber all the way to the home. |

So, even if you are on FTTP, you will only receive 18 mbps down max. |

| Very true, you get fiber, with the fiber/copper limitations. The direct fiber is probably a much cleaner connection though compared to the fiber/copper deployments. Shouldn't have to worry as much about interference or bad/malfunctioning devices in between. |
