Safety by union companies? LOL You must not have worked for the largest home improvement companies in the World. Where safety is below profits.
Also if more and more people where non-union you wouldnt see people losing their jobs. Take a look at the ToledoBlade.com and see how many union employees have been laid off because they're greedy assholes. they refuse to take a 10% paycut and look at them now and see how many more will be laid off and replaced by full automated trash trucks. 1/3rd the worforce will be replaced with 1 truck and 1 driver. And look at how many police officers will be laid off and replaced by redlight cameras since those seem to be the only "union" promoted device that keeps you safe on the road.
GOtta love those union employees huh? Especially when they're the ones to blame for their injuries and costing my city more than a million a year in workers comp. claims. |

So now you have everybody (not management, because we all know they're not greedy) working at minimum wage and paying virtual no income tax. Just how are you going to fund the government?
Quit taking bullitpoints from individuals that don't care what theyt're talking about. Find adults with a passion to make lives better. Once you understand that employee benefits are a direct result of collective bargaining or the threat from it, you'll begin to understand how those gains began to be rescinded over the past 40 some years. And how some are trying to maintain whats left! |

| it's called you get paid on how much you work and what your job is worth. Not making $76 per hour for putting a sticker on a door or other item of such. The same as union employees that sit in a call center. Very hard work huh?
And yes, why should anyone make more than what their job is valued at? Why should they get free healthcare? they shouldn't. They should have to pay into it just like everyone else. |
