I just bought and recieved 4 tools for working on power supply cables. I can't figure out how to use them.
Do you insert the tools from the plug in side or the wire side? Which of the four tools (one is like a single needle, another is like it but with two needles, one has four needles, and one is a tube on both ends) do I use 4 or 6 pin connector that goes to the modular power supply end? -- Join Teams Helix and Discovery. reply to signmeuptoo I figured it out finally, just a day ago. I had to use the two prong tool and insert it sideways into the pin end, and then I had to use pliers to pull the wire out, as it was very hard to pull out.
My cables have their new connectors on them and I am no longer short cables.
This will do me until I can buy a Corsair or something. -- Join Teams Helix and Discovery. Put that fancy computer to good use helping to find a cure, your mom will love you for it. »Team Helix »Team Discovery
