Re: FAHMonitor reading SMP client instead of GPU client

Your suppose to browse to the shortcut right? Its in Start/Program Files

When I look for it in the monitor app, I go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home\

The name doesn't matter does it?

FAHMonitor doesn't care about your shortcut. It wants you to point it to the folder (wherever that is and whatever you named it) where you have your GPU client installed, the folder where the executable file and the FAHlog.txt resides.

For me, in the example I gave you, that is C:\FAHSMP\ I like to keep it simple, but FAHMon doesn't care if your path is longer, as long as you point to the correct folder.

I got it, they put it in a really weird location though.

You can specify where you want to install FAH clients during the install process. I always choose a really simple path.
