Difference between 3347-02-1006 and 3347-02-1006L

What is the difference between a 3347-02-1006 and a 3347-02-1006L?

Re: Difference between 3347-02-1006 and 3347-02-1006L

This is a rough guess based on my observations.

All 3347-02-1006 models that I have seen shipped with firmware version 7.6.1r6 and all 3347-02-1006L models that I have seen shipped with firmware version 7.6.1r9.

Hardware wise I believe them to be the exact same.

There was a bug in firmware 7.6.1r6 that caused the modems to revert to RBAN mode (Residential GUI) when used with an user name in the format of username@att.net and this bug was fixed with firmware version 7.6.1r9.

More info about the problem in the threads below. Problem can be fixed with utility and firmware discussed in those threads.

Being that these are AT&T Southeast/BellSouth models you might find out more if you ask over in the AT&T Southeast forum.
