recently ive been having weird issues where i get disconnected from online games and was wondering if these modem numbers look good

1 edit | Your downstream power is at the 15 dBmv DOCSIS limit; the significance of this will depend on the modem. Motorola SB51XX models are quite forgiving, and will work well with even higher downstream power levels. Other models may not be so forgiving.
Best to have a tech come out and get the downstream power level closer to 0 dBmv, unless you are using an in-house amplifier. If you are using an amp, reconnect things so that the modem is prior to the amplifier. |

| reply to dogg_man_the your fdc levels are too high ...you need to get those down chances are your hsd line is hooked to an amplifier ..im gona take a guess it was because a contractor was too lazy to replace the outlet and now your igress levels are through the roof and the amp is just keeping you on but can give you intermitten issues your reverse level is good but for all we know your rdc at that outlet could of been 56 which it far out of spec for a modem so they stuck a reverese amp on there to high the issues ..just because the modem is reading good levels doesnt mean they are just means some one is good at hiding problems lol |
